For the 1st time in at least 15 years I actually had some beer while racing. It was fun to go to the Sequoia Yacht Club jump on a boat and race and then hang out at the bar and chat. It was also the 1st time for a while that I have stayed up THAT long past my bedtime.
Here is a rather random – rambling update:
Hillary won by 20% in Erie County, where I have been. She won by 10% (with 89% reporting) statewide. It makes the blisters on my feet not hurt as much but I am still – Sleeeeeeepyyy! And it is MUCH better than Iowa was so many months ago. Still a WHOLE LOT OF work to do but we are still alive.
I’m in Erie PA. The last two days I have been canvasing or ‘door knocking’ for 12 hours a day. My feet and knuckles are sore but it has been so worth it. I have been able to interact with almost 500 people and answer their questions from – Where is my polling station? to What is Hillary going to do about gas prices?
I can’t begin to describe how awesome Friday Night was. We drove to Chicago and arrived just in time to shower and change to get to the Chicago yacht Club for a night of fundraising and celebrating Tom Neill – owner of Nitemare and leader of a crazy band of sailors and friends.
